Dukkah (also spelled duqqa or dukka) is an Egyptian side dish consisting of a mixture of herbs, nuts, in this case, Kingaroy Peanuts, and spices. It is typically used as a dip with bread and oil and eaten as an hors d’œuvre. It is also great sprinkled on lamb or roasted vegetables.
The Peanut Dukkah is based on fresh Kingaroy peanuts and an exotic blend of herbs and spice, for a delicious Middle-eastern flavour. TASTE South Burnett asked Kingaroy Kitchen to develop a dukkah to complement their range of gourmet foods, and boy, did they deliver. Both the Peanut Dukkah and the Kingaroy Kitchen Blend are very popular, and will have you experimenting with new and exciting ways to spice up your favourite dishes.
