This smooth, rich, top quality Tawny Port -style fortified Shiraz made with top quality, late harvested grapes. Named after the very well fed foxes on the Estate, it is minimally oak aged (approximately 1 year on American oak) for a lighter, fruitier style and maximum drinkability.
Kingsley Grove deliver true “Estate Grown” wines, where the wines are produced entirely at the estate. From the growing (under the tutelage of acclaimed viticulturist Peter Stewart), picking, wine-making, cellaring and bottling, Simon Berry – (son of the owners Mike and Pat) along with his wife Jo – handcraft a diverse array of quality European-style wines with a distinctive South Burnett twist. First established in 1998, the vineyard sits at an elevation 430 metres, enjoying the cooling influence of the nearby Bunya Mountains. Currently there are more than 10 grape varieties covering 24 acres (10 hectares) grown onsite.
This quality Kingsley Grove red wine is vegan friendly, using no animal derived products in the making process. Contains minimal sulphites (preservatives)
